Why you ask do we engage in Makeup Artistry? Well, it IS a form of art, the medium being makeup. There are many forms of art…water colors, oils, colored pencils for sketching, makeup, etc. A lot of times people turn to art and music in tough times to keep upbeat and encouraged and not lose faith in an otherwise tough situation, like this pandemic lockdown. Back in time during World War II women were encouraged to wear makeup because it was upbeat and made people feel better. I have a friend from the church I just retired from who is an artist and painting “quarantine art.” Songs have been written during this time as well.
The go to word in Makeup Artistry is “artistry.” That is what we are doing. Creating art in the form of a new look on a client or for stage or Halloween or anything else. It’s a pick-me-up just like a haircut. That’s what art does for people no matter what the medium. And I am here to tell you that I can help you out in your endeavors to look and feel good about yourself when you know how to use makeup to your advantage. Feeling “finished” is the goal. Whatever makes you feel good about yourself. You owe it to yourself to feed your inner bliss. Life isn’t easy. But we can do some things for ourselves to help us cope.
I am also an Avon Independent Sales Rep and my website is https://www.avon.com/repstore/eczaja. Visit, register and let me know what I can do for you to feed your inner bliss. You can contact me through the website as well. I can recommend products for you and help you learn to use them. Skincare, makeup, everything you need to add a little something extra to your well-being.
It’s about feeling good and looking good and having fun too. Makeup Artistry is right up there with other forms of art. And that’s a really good thing!
